 The
Glass Tape is a specially treated glass fibre fabric that
ensures that the Standard Resin Mix will fully permeate
the fabric and give the resultant glass fibre resin laminate
repair, excellent mechanical properties. Glass Tape is normally
used from the roll for Pipe Repairs but can also be used
in short lengths for repairs where access is difficult.

If you are in a situation where you can not isolate the
product passing through the pipe then you can adopt the
following procedure in most cases (providing that the pressure
does not prevent you from physically carrying out this procedure
and the product in the pipe is not of a dangerous nature)
The surface of the pipe should be abraded to remove all
rust and dirt.
Pipe Wrap PlasSteel TRK19060 should
then be mixed and pushed into the holes to stop the leaks
and held in place by placing a metal plate over the repaired
area whilst the product is still wet and the plate clamped
to the pipe holding it in place. The repair should then
be allowed to dry out.
Once dry, Pipe Wrap Standard Resin with the incorporation
of a glass tape should then be applied round the pipe to
strengthen the repair.
