If you are in a situation where you can not isolate the
product passing through the pipe then you can adopt the
following procedure in most cases (providing that the pressure
does not prevent you from physically carrying out this procedure
and the product in the pipe is not of a dangerous nature)
The surface of the pipe should be abraded to remove all
rust and dirt.
Pipe Wrap PlasSteel should then be mixed and pushed into
the holes to stop the leaks and held in place by placing
a metal plate over the repaired area whilst the product
is still wet and the plate clamped to the pipe holding it
in place. The repair should then be allowed to dry out.
Once dry, Pipe Wrap Standard Resin with the incorporation
of a glass tape should then be applied round the pipe to
strengthen the repair.
