You need to WRAP a minimum of 10 times around the pipe for maximum service |

NO, in most cases the pipe wraps stay on until a major new installation is carried out. |

Normally a year - IF the bandage feels SOFT and PLIABLE whilst still in the packet it is OK to use, even after a considerable amount of time |

YES for the best results any oil or debris must be remove from the pipe and the surface roughened up |

What if I have a HOLE or SLIP in the pipe? |
Use the **METAL: REPAIR PUTTY first to fill in the hole - then overwrap with the bandage
** can also use the TRK19002/3 A & B Cement |

Can I buy everything I need in a KIT? |
YES TRK19500 contains 5x50mmx1.6m wraps + 1 metal putty stick + gloves and usable plastic bucket |

Is there a warranty? |
- YES against the normal product being suitable to use |

Do I have to turn off the fluid in the pipe before effecting the repair? |
In most cases and for the BEST results YES. However in some cases and using the metal putty to first plug the hole - a repair can be effected without turning off the product.
RULE OF THUMB - if you could stop the flow by placing something over the damaged area you can probably use the putty and tape |

Can the bandage be used on drinking water pipe? |
YES - we have drinking water approval |

Do I need to employ a special company to apply the bandage? |
NO it can be applied by maintenance engineering staff |

Providing that the surface can be prepared - all materials are sealable |
